This summer marks a new chapter for DeepHorizon Technologies: we’re officially expanding our operations into Lisbon, Portugal’s thriving tech and innovation hub.
Since our founding in Porto, we’ve built systems for clients across Europe — from Italy to Cyprus — and grown into a team that spans five countries. But as we scale, we’ve recognized the need for a second strategic base, one that supports talent acquisition, investor engagement, and ecosystem partnerships. Lisbon is the clear choice.
Why Lisbon?
Lisbon is more than a beautiful capital — it’s a launchpad. With a booming startup ecosystem, access to global tech events, and a strong pool of engineering and data science talent, it’s where ideas accelerate into execution.
We’re currently:
- Finalizing co-working and office partnerships with Lisbon-based hubs
- Recruiting local talent across engineering, DevOps, and analytics roles
- Engaging with universities and accelerator programs to build new collaborations
This move reflects not just geographic growth, but operational ambition. We’re building infrastructure to support larger clients, more complex systems, and faster delivery cycles — all while remaining grounded in Portugal’s collaborative tech culture.
What’s Next
By Q4 2024, we aim to:
- Have a permanent Lisbon team in place
- Expand our delivery bandwidth to support more projects concurrently
- Launch an in-person event to connect with the local ecosystem and share what we’re building
We’re also laying the groundwork for future market entry in the UAE, leveraging our Lisbon presence to connect with partners, investors, and early adopters in the Gulf region.
Lisbon is more than an expansion — it’s a signal. DeepHorizon is here to grow, here to build, and here to stay.
